Understanding and preparing your DUI/DWI or traffic case
To prepare for DUI/DWI and serious traffic offenses, Mallon Snyder will meet with you to discuss every potential defense. He will fully discuss everything that the officer did and said and the manner in which the stop was made and/or the arrest was conducted. We will look at all issues of Probable Cause and Reasonable Suspicion, and we will consider all Fourth Amendment Defenses to do all necessary research to prepare your matter for trial.
Mallon will file a request for discovery to get copies of all documents, police videos, notes and records of the arresting officer and review with you the contents of police reports in looking for errors and omissions. If we are both not satisfied with the state’s offer, we will proceed to trial after having thoroughly prepared you to testify in open court.
I will fully advise you how to dress. If you need a tie, we keep several at the office so that you are ready to make your best appearance. I will also provide additional assistance by preparing answers to questions the judge may consider asking you, and help you navigate through the Motor Vehicle Administration.
The advantages of an experienced trial attorney
One of the major advantages of trying so many DUI/DWI/traffic cases is that the State is often eager and willing to reduce major charges and accept a plea to a minor offense, knowing that you and your case will have been well prepared for trial. We will explore every avenue of resolution including alternative disposition and outcomes to avoid jail time.
